Fairytales presently being told in the political stage are mere deceptions of the public, said opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
They claim themselves to be the only solution, but no solution is possible without rupees and dollars, he said at Samagi Ranaviru meeting in Matale today (06).
The SJB is the only opposition in 76 years of local democracy to have served the country without power, he said.
Premadasa promised to give war heroes their due place of dignity under a government by him for having saved the country from terrorists.
He commended the Ranaviru Seva Authority for the services rendered to them so far, but said a separate department like in the US would be established for the welfare of all war heroes.
