Seven more opposition MPs have reportedly obtained liquor permits from the government.
Two each of them are from Kurunegala, Gampaha and the southern province, while the other is from Colombo.
They have been given the liquor permits in return for a promise to support the government.
Leading monks in those districts have informed opposition leaders about this.
A number of Ruling MPs too, have obtained liquor permits.
Parliament was told that 200 liquor permits had been issued recently.
