The founder of DP Education, MP Dhammika Perera says it is education only that can revive the country since all developed nations do have high-standards in education.
Knowing its importance, Perera said he was spending his personal wealth to provide free education to children.
The lawmaker was speaking after opening three of his DP Education IT campuses in Batticaloa yesterday (20).
He went on that a family rich in education is not poor in any way, because education brings numerous opportunities to earn money.
The programme aims to generate one million jobs in the IT sector by providing training worth Rs. 2.5 million per student.
The latest campuses are located at Oddamavadi, Eravur and Kathankudy to provide IT education to 2,800 students.
They were set up with the intervention of former governor of eatsren province M.L.A.M. Hizbullah.
Also present at the openings were M.M.S. Haroon and A.S.M. Shathik.
