A proposal will once again be presented to ministers at a meeting tomorrow (07) for releasing waters of Samanala Wewa to Udawalawa reservoir for irrigational purposes, said agriculture minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
He said he discussed the matter at length with the president last night as well.
What has transpired there too, will be included in the proposal to the cabinet, he said.
Tomorrow marks two weeks since farmers started a Satyagraha in Embilipitiya to demand water for their land.
