TNPF MP Selvaraja Gajendran is demanding the return of alleged Tamil-owned land acquired for Tissa Buddhist Vihara at Kankesanthurai in Jaffna.
Speaking on 07 April at the location, he warned of stronger action if the demand is not met.
Tamils have been waging protests on every full moon day for more than a year now to demand the removal of the temple and the return of the land of more than six acres.
It is alleged private land has been acquired to build the temple by the Army which says the place dates back to third century AD.
