Three mainstream political parties have so far paid more than Rs. 10 billion to pollsters to know the public opinion, according to political sources.
Some of these institutes have already submitted the results of their polls.
Certain party leaders have their selected pollsters to carry them out.
At present, three are conducting opinion polls.
Parties use the results to plan their future politics accordingly.
Also, they quote from opinion polls advantageous to them in the political stage to grab public attention.
