URF leader Patali Champika Ranawaka has advised Basil Rajapaksa to leave Sri Lanka and SLPP supporters alone and go to live in the country of his citizenship.
The era of holding or postponing elections to satisfy the personal wishes is over, he said, adding that elections should take place as per the constitution.
Ranawaka was speaking to the media yesterday (22).
As per the constitution, the presidential election should be held first, and the provincial council polls too, should take place, said the URF leader.
