NPP executive committee member K.D. Lalkantha has offered to teach socialism and economic policies of his party to opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
Lalkantha said the opposition leader gets ridiculed by society over his talk on socialism and his ignorance.
In actual fact, the NPP has an economic policy for the masses, he said.
Lalkantha said that Premadasa claims to have humane capitalism while accusing Ranil Wickremesinghe of having inhumane capitalism.
But, the SJB’s economics expert Harsha de Silva describes theirs to be a social market economic policy.
Premadasa seems not to understand any of these policies, he added.
