A female official in parliament has been removed less than 24 hours after her promotion to head a division.
The reason for the removal is said to be her having gone to the home of an officer, who is second in command in the division, intimidated him and questioned his qualifications for the position.
The officer has lodged a complaint with secretary general of parliament Kushani Rohanadeera who ordered her immediate removal from the position.
