The sale, promotion or distribution of everything that is detrimental to the interests of children will be removed near schools before the commencement of the next term, acting IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon said.
He was addressing a function at Veluwana College in Colombo.
Tennakoon said a 500 metre radius of every school will be rid of things bad for children.
