Sports minister Roshan Ranasinghe has decided to crossover to the opposition after making a statement to the House today (08) with regard to political meddling in sports, said political sources.
His speech is expected to be on the interim cricket committee he has appointed and the Appeal Court injunction that prevents the enforcement of the relevant gazette notification.
In the meantime, president Ranil Wickremesinghe has put off a speech he was planning to make to parliament today.
