The Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) urges the Sri Lankan people to come forward to end the oppressive regime.

Its education secretary Pubudu Jayagoda made the call at a media briefing, where he expressed readiness for his party’s total commitment to make people’s aspirations victorious.

“We are asking the working people, all oppressed people, to come forward and organize them to end this oppressive regime, and take control of power to build a populist rule,” he said.

Jayagoda gave statistics and explained at length the government’s tyrannical actions, the latest being the fuel price hike and decisions to revise electricity tariffs every three months and to raise the VAT by three per cent from next year.
