Sri Lanka will soon become the “Ukraine of South Asia” due to wrong foreign policies and diplomatic management, alleged MP Prof. Charitha Herath.
The Freedom People's Congress (FPC) member told the media yesterday (29) that the government and the president were trying to make Sri Lanka a colony of India.
Herath raised president Ranil Wickremesinghe’s proposal to build a bridge between the two countries and asked constitutional and legal experts to pay their attention to that.
He also said the president had yet to inform parliament or the people about the agreements he had signed during his recent visit to India.
The FPC MP added that they have presented a new political and economic vision for the country, about which a dialogue would be initiated with all parties in the opposition.
