Ex-president Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his wife were notable participants at the annual higher ordination ceremony of Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha of Kotte.
Nineteen monks were given higher ordination on 22 July at Kotte Rajamaha Vihara, presided by Ven. Dr. Ittepana Dhammalankara Nayaka Thera.
