Wimal Weerawansa, the chairman of Supreme Lanka Council, says they will form a new political alliance this month to build the country.
Their alliance will field a presidential candidate as well, he said.
Previously, deputy chairman of SLC Udaya Gammanpila said they would build a new force of patriotism with a patriotic presidential candidate.
At their May Day rally in Kirulapone, he said a vast majority of voters have rejected Ranil Wickremesinghe, Sajith Premadasa and Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
As the key segment of voters, they are awaiting the emergence of a patriotic candidate, he added.
