Basil Rajapaksa, the US citizen, cannot be allowed to decide elections in Sri Lanka, said Mawbima Janatha Party leader Dilith Jayaweera.
He questioned the morality of Rajapaksa’s getting involved in national politics and state administration.
Jayaweera was addressing the Badulla district conference of his party.
It is a big mistake if the Rajapaksas believe that the innocent people of this country can be manipulated to suit their whims, Jayaweera added.
