The 15th year remembrance has taken place for a Tamil journalist who died in an artillery attack by the Army in Mullaitivu during the final year of the war.
The event to commemorate Punyamurthi Satyamurthi was held at the TNPF office in Jaffna on 12 February.
The warfront reporter was injured in the shelling at a no-war zone at Devipuram and died a day later in the absence of any treatment.
Artillery fire killed a total of 138 men, women and children on that day in the villages of Devipuram and Vallipuram.
