The United Republic Front will present a practical programme today (14) to develop the country, said its leader Patali Champika Ranawaka.
In a statement, he says the document will be distributed to social activists, professionals and other parties interested in politics for their views.
The programme contains specific measures with regard to the IMF recommendations, it says.
The statement also says the economy was getting contracted as a result of the policies of the incumbent president to leave the people under severe pressure.
Ranawaka adds in the statement that his programme could pave the way for a dialogue with all stakeholders and lead to an extensive political alliance as well.
