A SJB government will bring the economic assassins to book and recover the public assets swindled by them for investment in education and health, said opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
He was addressing a function where smart classroom equipment worth Rs. one million was donated to Rahula Maha Vidyalaya in Rajanganaya on 06 February.
Farmers, fishermen and businessmen and state sector workers were rendered helpless while thieves in the government continue with their thievery, he charged.
The former health minister and his crony officials amassed millions from substandard medicines scams, said the opposition leader.
As the populist opposition, the SJB at least provides schools with computers while the bankrupt country’s government is unable to do even that, he added.
