The postmortem examination report submitted to the court cited Alex’s cause of death to be injuries from torture.

Previously on 24 November, magistrate Nagaraja declared his death to be a murder.

The former crimes OIC and three others attached to Vadukkodai police are accused over the killing of the 26-year-old.

They were identified by a witness during an identification parade on 08 December.
