NPP MP Vijitha Herath has accused the government of having submitted a cabinet paper to sell the country’s water resources.
Speaking in parliament, he said promises to create a greens and digital economy in 2023 had not materialized.
The latest budget proposal under ‘reawakening Sri Lanka’ is an attempt to sell national resources and burden the public with more taxes only, said the MP.
The government is in store for court and people’s decisions against it very soon, he warned.
