Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Dr. Harsha de Silva has accused the government of having no plan whatsoever to curb rampant fraud and corruption.
Instead of taking steps to halt such wrongs, what the president does is further burden the suffering masses with more taxes, he noted.
De Silva said he doubted if that would succeed.
He went onto say that a nation-building vision cannot be expressed from Ranil Wickremesinghe who is caught in the grips of a gang found by courts of having destroyed the economy.
The SJB MP said a government by his party would be committed to eliminate fraud and corruption to help attract foreign investment to the country.
