Director of the Finance Ministry’s department of public finance, M. Champa Balasuriya has died in a sudden accident.
She is survived by husband Premasiri Balasuriya and daughters Rajini and Nilasi.
Born on 17 November 1968, she was a past student of Panadura Girls’ School.
A graduate of the Universities of Sri Jayewardenepura and Colombo, she was an accountant by profession.
The remains are being kept at no. 277, Mawala South, Wadduwa, with the funeral due on 18 November.
