The SJB has appointed civil activist Pradeep N. Weerasinghe as its chief organizer for Haliela electorate.
Dr. Weerasinghe, a lecturer at Colombo University, received his appointment letter today (12) from opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
Also present on the occasion were the party’s general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara and MPs Ashok Abeysinghe and Nalin Bandara.
Weerasinghe is formerly chairman of the Media Reforms National Secretariat, executive director of the Regional Development Bank, national communication consultant at the ADB’s health system development project and communication consultant at China International Broadcasting and Television Institute.
