The first public seminar by ‘We have a Dream’ will take place at Lakshman Kadirgamar Centre in Colombo tomorrow (31), starting at 3.00 pm.
Speakers on the occasion will be former speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Prof. Chandragupta Thenuwara, Prof. Rohan Samarajeewa, Dr. Nimalka Fernando and Philip Dissanayake.
The seminar presented by Dulan Dassanayake and Dr. Shanika Hasangi will be followed by an open dialogue moderated by Ajith Perakum Jayasinghe.
Similar events have been planned in Kandy, Galle, Kurunegala and Badulla, programme organizer Gnanaweera Dissanayake told ‘The Leader’.
‘We have a Dream’ has been formed by the Movement for a Just Society, Platform for Freedom, Aluth Kathabaha among others.
It envisions a state administration based on national unity, supremacy of the law and social justice and corruption-free, transparent, efficient and democratic governance and a competitive market economy regulated by the state.
