Police are investigating to arrest a catholic priest in Marawila, who is in hiding after having allegedly sexually abused a schoolboy for nearly a year.
An arrest warrant has been obtained from courts, as there is information the suspect is attempting to flee the country, said a top police official.
Both Katunayake and Mattala airports have been notified through the controller of immigration and emigration.
Parents have got to know about the sexual abuse of the boy aged 15 and complained to IGP C.D. Wickramaratne.
