Entrepreneur Dhammika Perera’s Hayleys Group is among the six investors who have shown interest in the proposed acquisition of SriLankan Airlines.
This has been confirmed by the State Enterprise Restructuring Unit of the Ministry of Finance.
Perera owns more than a 51 per cent stake in Hayleys PLC.
A spokesman for the group said they are presently making a review of the documentations pertaining to the national airline.
The six interested investors are AirAsia Consulting Sdn. Bhd., Dharshaan Elite Investment Holding (Pvt) Ltd., FITS Aviation (Private) Limited, Sherisha Technologies Private Limited, Treasure Republic Guardians Limited and Hayleys PLC.
