The mother of media secretary to labour minister Manusha Nanayakkara, Sanjaya Nallaperuma, passed away yesterday (08).
Padma Wickramaratne of Hendirigewatte in Wanduramba, Galle was 74 at the time of her death.
She was the wife of the late planter Wijesena Nallaperuma and mother of Sanjaya Nallaperuma, quantity surveyor Gangani Sagarika and Damitha Nallaperuma of the Export Agriculture Board.
The funeral takes place at 3.00 pm today at the family burial grounds.
