MJP leader Dilith Jayaweera said he would not allow 6.9 million votes to be sold to a businessman.
Those votes do not belong to Namal Rajapaksa or his supporters. The 6.9 million votes do not mean the SLPP. It belongs to us, Jayaweera said at a public rally in Matugama on 05 May.
He told the businessman he made references to that it would be a waste of his money if he intended on buying the 6.9 million votes.
