Only two out of seven companies have started ventures after being given 51 acres from the tourism development zone in Yala wildlife park.
The land was leased by the Tourism Development Authority to them in 2014, 2019 and 2020.
This is mentioned in a latest audit report submitted to the Committee on Public Accounts.
According to the report, the Authority has failed to minimize the combined Rs. 50 million loss incurred by its five holiday bungalows during 2022-2023.
