Former president Maithripala Sirisena has accused Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga of having obtained an injunction against him in order for the SLFP to ally with the government.
Sirisena was speaking to the media at his official home after receiving the court order that prevents him from functioning as chairman of the party.
He said he would clarify matters to courts as well as to party organizers and supporters.
