Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says he will not desert the party of his heart, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, for any other party.
He was responding to questions raised by the media at his ministry.
Amaraweera alleged that party chairman Maithripala Sirisena is surrounded by some dealmakers who mislead him.
He doubted what they would do to Sirisena after giving him false hopes of becoming the president again.
Amaraweera responded only with a smile when asked if he believed the SLFP could win elections under Sirisena.
