The SJB accuses the government of spreading falsehoods that opposition leader Sajith Premadasa will join with the president.
In a statement yesterday (10), the party requests the public not to be misled by such propaganda by the government that aims to cover up its bankruptcy.
The SJB will not join the government or its partner in any way, it adds.
The statement comes on the same day president Wickremesinghe held his first public rally since assuming office.
