Stressing that Samagi Jana Balawegaya MPs cannot be bought over unlike those in other parties, opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has vowed to defeat the corrupt politics that offer various privileges and gratifications.
He was speaking after handing over a smart classroom to Galgamuwa secondary school in Madulla, Moneragala yesterday (12).
Premadasa urged that no one should fall prey to political games, noting that it had once led to the country’s bankruptcy.
Instead of developing the country, the rulers are baiting MPs by offering them liquor permits etc.
In the meantime, people get nothing, he noted.
