Sri Lanka has no way out of its economic crisis except formulating its economic strategy in line with global economic trends, says the Communist Party of Sri Lanka.
In a statement, the CPSL’s politburo says neither the government nor certain parties in the opposition is with a realistic political vision to admit that truth.
Therefore, the need arises for a new political alignment in view of that situation, says the party.
The CPSL urges all patriotic, progressive and leftist forces to rally for a new political consensus in that regard.
