Sabaragamuwa governor Navin Dissanayake has been given an honorary title by Samanna Maha Nikaya.
He was conferred ‘Desha Keerthi Sri Sasanabhimani’ in recognition of his services to Buddhism and society.
Its Mahanayake Ven. Makulewe Wimala Thera handed him the title at Ratnapura district secretariat on 29 January at the 161st
anniversary of the Nikaya.
