All doctors’ unions have decided to work together for the upliftment of their profession.
The GMOA, specialist doctors and the Sri Lanka Medical Association met yesterday (24) to discuss future challenges in the health sector and agreed on the need to declare one united voice from the medical fraternity.
GMOA spokesman Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe said agreement was reached to take the health sector to a new era under a single committee.
GMOA secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthge gave details of the meeting.
