The new alliance by the Anura Yapa and Nimal Lanza faction will hold its maiden public rally at Ja Ela town on 27 January.
Its Gampaha district leader Nalin Fernando is organizing the event, to be attended by Yapa, Lanza, Susil Premajayanth and Priyankara Jayaratne.
In the meantime, the launch of the alliance is due towards the end of this month at the BMICH.
The alliance expects to finalize, within the next fortnight, its constitution and legal groundwork to allow it to ally with other parties, said a spokesman for the alliance.
