The Ruhunu Kumari train will re-start its journey from Matara station to Colombo from tomorrow (16), Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana said.
The Ruhunu Kumari operated from Beliatta via Matara to Colombo Fort for two weeks.
Before that, passengers coming from Beliatta boarded the Ruhunu Kumari from Matara and the Minister had instructed to start the Ruhunu Kumari again from Matara.
The passengers coming from Beliatta can come to Matara on another train and board the Ruhunu Kumari from there.
