A police sergeant has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing his own daughter, aged 15.
Attached to the Field Force Headquarters at Bambalapitiya, the suspect is a resident of Dematagahawela in Narammala.
The alleged abuse had taken place on 03 March 2022.
The girl has revealed the incident to a doctor only recently.
