SLPP leader Mahinda Rajapaksa has copied statistics being widely used by NPP chief Anura Kumara Dissanayake to highlight Ranil Wickremesinghe’s inefficiencies, pro-JVP social media arms have noted.
Among them are the 12,500 million US dollars worth of international sovereign bonds procured during 2015-19 and the negative 0.2 growth rate in the beginning of 2020.
Rajapaksa gave those details in a press release he issued yesterday (20).
However, he has made a total mess out of it when he tried to defend himself over his failures.
