The warden of a hostel in Kirulapone run by a religious group has been arrested on a charge of sexually abusing five girls since 2020.
The victims of the 63-year-old are aged between nine and 17 years.
Police said the hostel is not registered with the authorities.
The girls are being subjected to a medical examination.
