A continuation of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officials after parliament unanimously decided their ouster is a matter of ethics only, said a legal expert.
There is no legal binding that SLC office-bearers should leave merely because parliament unanimously adopted a resolution against them, according to president’s counsel C.R. de Silva.
There is no legal issue involved, as it was a case of MPs only voicing their opinion as representatives of the people.
The issue at Sri Lanka Cricket should be resolved through courts, he opined.
