There is no truth whatsoever to reports that C.D. Wickramaratne has been given a fourth service extension as the police chief, said a top official at the Presidential Secretariat.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe is yet to take a decision on the matter, said the official.
Wickramaratne completed a three-week extension as the IGP yesterday (02), after being given three-months’ extensions twice.
