The then law and order minister Ranjith Madduma Bandara had been informed, both orally and in writing, by the head of state intelligence at the time about Zahran Hashim in 2018, SLPP MP Sarath Weerasekara said.
Zahran led a group of suicide bombers in the Easter Sunday terror attacks a year later.
Weerasekara made the assertion in parliament today (22) and tabled a letter dated 19 May, 2018 to support his claim.
