A Tamil web journalist has been robbed of his camera and other equipment by a thief who had broken into his office at Kotahena.
Parameswaran Vigneswaran, who runs aivarree.com, said the theft had taken place on the night of 14 August.
The thief had entered from the roof, as shown by CCTV footage, which the journalist has handed over to the police.
Previously robbed similarly and the website and two YouTube channels run by him hacked, Vigneswaran said he believed a person was systematically targeting him over his media activities.
In July last year, a complaint to Kotahena police that an Apple laptop and other equipment worth Rs. Two million were stolen from his home has yielded nothing so far, he said.
