Former president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has extended assistance for sports development in two schools in Mullaitivu.
Kumaratunga has attended a nutritional programme for students of Thenniyakulam Tamil School and Theravil Tamil School.
The occasion also saw the commencement of measures to develop sports facilities in the two schools and to improve the livelihood productivity of milch farmers in the area.
