Renowned filmmaker Louie Vanderstraaten passed away today (20).
He directed 34 Sinhala films, notable among them being ‘Bindunu Hadawath’, ‘Pem Kurullo’, ‘Bonikko 1 & 2’, ‘Ege Wairaya 1, 2, 3 & 4’, ‘Dadabima’ and ‘Viyaru Geheniyak.’
He was also an English novelist.
