The anti-terrorism bill will be tabled in Parliament on April 25, newsfirst.lk quoted minister of justice Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe as saying.
Although the minister had planned to table the bill in Parliament on April 04, it was postponed considering requests made by multiple
parties.
A request was made for the tabling of the bill to be included on the agenda of the Parliamentary session on April 25, he said.
In the meantime, another bill for the protection of victims and witnesses will also be tabled in Parliament during the same week.
The anti-corruption bill will be tabled in Parliament during the first week of May, the justice minister added.
