The IGP has decided to transfer several senior DIGs and SSPs following the New Year, subject to approval by the public security ministry and the police headquarters, Neth News reported.
These policemen include senior DIGs L.S. Pathinayake, Daminda Sri Rajitha, Sajeewa Medawatte, Ajith Rohana, W.K. Jayalath and Sanjeewa
Dharmaratne.
Also, transfers are expected in the posts of SSPs for Puttalam, CCD, director of human rights management and police ombudsman.
